The 64th Grammy Awards were last night and the highly anticipated award for Rap Album of the Year was announced an hour before the show kicked off due to Tyler’s absence. Tyler took home the Grammy for rap album of the year back in 2019 for his experimental album IGOR the album had new vocals from Tyler and had him using sounds his fans weren’t familiar with and was an instant hit.

This year was different in that the album Tyler put out Call Me If You Get Lost was a braggadocious in your face album where Tyler flexed his cars and his love for travel. DJ Drama helped Tyler put together a great collection of sixteen songs ranging from Tyler’s rapping skills to his perfect use of synths and instruments bringing together a sonically appealing project with some of Hip Hop's biggest names including Pharrell, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Ty Dolla $ign.

As for what’s next Tyler admitted he doesn’t know, but he definitely wants to continue making music and producing the best products for his fans. Tyler went live on instagram to accept his award and giving thanks to DJ Drama and his fans. We should be very proud of Tyler and his journey from out of the box teen to rap superstar. The future has no limits for Tyler and we will be anticipating his next project.
