You're probably wondering, why should I get a dog during this outbreak? Well there’s lots of reasons you should. For example they make us laugh which gives us joy, dogs make us exercise, and they give us responsibility because we have to take care of them.
A reason why you should get a dog during this pandemic is because they can make us laugh. Times are rough during this outbreak but you won’t be any longer if you have a furry friend! Elijah Qualls (10) “She will just randomly sprint around the house.” Alex Zirkle (10) “sometimes when he runs he falls over.”
You should also get a dog because they can get us lots of exercise. These balls of energy always love to go on walks, to dog parks, and just play with toys which get your muscles going! Gavin Hall (10) “he is a fat dog so I take him out for walks.” Rex Olin (10) “I walk my dog everyday and sometime I’ll go throw a tennis ball.”
The last reason you should get a furry companion is because they can teach us responsibility. Dogs can teach us responsibility because they love to get into stuff they’re not supposed to. Dogs also teach you responsibility because you have to feed them and pay attention to them. Marco Valentino (10) “My dog teaches me responsibility by having to manage my time.” Bryce Leesburg (10) “I have to feed her, bathe her, give her water and let her out.”
I guess you could say it would be really fun to get a dog over the outbreak. And now you’ve seen all the reasons it would be great. Have fun and stay safe.
