Students began scheduling on Wednesday, February 9th for the 2022-2023 school year! This time of the year can be extremely stressful, but with the help of our admin, teachers, and counselors we’re able to get through it together. The upcoming school year means new opportunities, new people, and new classes to look forward to. The Jaguar Times explores the student body’s feeling about scheduling for the upcoming school year.

Many students are pumped for some classes they placed on their schedule. Ainsley Brill (9) says, “I’m looking forward to Academy Vibe.” Outside of Bradley there are many options for classes that are at the HUB & ILC. These classes and other electives here are new and advanced ways of learning music, arts, leadership skills, and more!

When scheduling many students feel tremendous amounts of stress and anxiety. Ally Hunt (9) says, “I have no idea what to schedule. I guess I’m just gonna see how it goes.” Make sure not to stress about the upcoming year and what it has to hold. Everyone has until the end of the month to make changes and nothing is permanent. Always make sure to reach out to any staff here at Bradley if you have any concerns or even questions regarding scheduling.

Some students feel that they have everything figured out and they aren’t nervous. Ally Soto (9) says, “I feel pretty good about it, I’ve already talked to my teachers and gotten my teachers recommendations.” If you are stressing about your classes for the next school year, make sure to get your teacher's opinion because they will be able to help you figure out which class is best fitted for you. Ms. Hueter says, “The advice that I have for the scheduling process is to make sure to look at Mr. Warfield’s email that was sent home to all of our students and parents with more information.” The administration is there to help everyone through this process.

You can never go wrong with classes, make sure to have fun while scheduling and talk to your teachers if you need any help. If you are unsure, you still have time to make your decision. Don’t forget that there are many options so make sure to consider all of them.
