Senior Thanksgiving is a gathering that happens in November every school year. Seniors meet up in the field house and eat Thanksgiving food while playing fun games, taking photos in the Photo Booth, and having a pie eating contest. The event takes place on Thursday, November 16th that brings the Senior class together to spend time together and enjoy their times with their friends.

Mrs. Coté is one of the planners that organizes it every year. She explains that the purpose of it is to “do it every year because it’s fun. It gets all the Seniors together to eat Thanksgiving food. We do a lot of things that are just special for Seniors.”

Senior Class Cabinet also plays a big role in planning it which gives them a bit of a personal connection. Miles Plater (12) says his favorite food at Senior Thanksgiving is “mac and cheese.” One of the best parts about Senior Thanksgiving is the wonderful food that people only get to eat once a year.

Layali Hashem (12) says she enjoys “the ambiance, food, and pie is incredible. It’s amazing here and I think it’s really pretty.” The theme that Senior Thanksgiving was built around was simply beautiful. Most students would want to cozy up in front of a movie and stay there forever.

Sofia Statti (12) elaborates “I want to be with my friends and spend time and make memories with them, because this is kind of the last year before we all go our separate ways.” It is important to make time for friends at that point of life because there is a chance of never seeing them again.

The exciting things that Seniors do during their Senior year will last them a lifetime. It’s one of the wonderful events that bring them together one last time. Make sure you take the time to tell the people you love that you’re grateful for them. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
