Saturday Night F3v3r is set to take place on the turf of Hilliard Bradley Stadium on April 22nd from 7-9pm. The event allows for current Bradley students to make soccer teams of 3-5 people and serves as a way to have lighthearted competitive fun as the end of the school year approaches.

The event is a bracket style 3v3 soccer tournament. It will be played on small-sided soccer fields with small pop up goals on either end. Games will last ten minutes each with the winner advancing within the original bracket. Those who lose will have the chance to participate in a consolation bracket. Any ties will be broken with a tie breaker. Teams will be able to substitute as needed when the ball is not within play. All regular soccer rules apply.

Registration for this event remains open until Wednesday April 19th at midnight. No previous soccer experience is required to participate in the event. Alongside needing a team of 3-5 students is a small participation fee of $10/team. The winners of the tournament will also receive a prize for their accomplishment.

The event came to be as a Capstone project fulfillment for five seniors, Katy Grainger, Grace Meister, Clara Richardson, Olivia Slominski, and Delaney Warner.

Olivia Slominski (12), co-founder of the event, says, “I wanted to do this project because it seemed like a fun interactive way to get people involved while completing my Capstone.”

These seniors have participated in Hilliard Bradley Girls Soccer throughout all four years of their high school experience and wanted to find a way to give back to the program that provided them with so much.

Head coach of the Bradley Girls Soccer program, Becky Alcox, who is also refereeing the event says “our program from the freshman to the senior class was a Family. Every struggle and every triumph we handled together.” It is evident that this is true, for the seniors have decided to donate all proceeds of the event to the Bradley Girls Athletic Boosters.

Co-founder of the event, Grace Meister (12), adds, “the Girls Soccer program has had a big impact on my life and has taught me many skills that I can use in my future, and has helped me form so many strong relationships.”

There is still time to participate in this event. Be sure to sign up by Wednesday April 19th to be a part of the fun!
