Autumn is here! Weather changes, leaves begin to fall, but most importantly, styles change. Here at Bradley high school, fall fashion is many people's favorite! We investigated this year’s fall fashion for ideas and advice considering the new season.
While the new season brings colder weather it also brings many staple pieces to a fall closet. Sofia Italiano (11) says, “I like wearing flannels because it’s a fashion statement”. Flannels are a very trendy piece of clothing that can be styled in many different ways. If you want to be comfortable, wear it with sweatpants and a sweatshirt. If you want to style it nicer, wear jeans and a shirt! There are so many ways to wear flannels, so get creative! Get creative styling newA common theme is the general idea of being comfortable. Choir director Mr. Witt says, “[I like to wear] Sneakers obviously, joggers, probably a hoodie or sweatshirt and a flannel, because it is comfortable”. Because of the weather getting colder it’s easiest to style anything comfortable. Mr.Witt’s outfit example is a great choice for a comfortable outfit.
During the fall season, the leaves start to change, along with the colors in people’s wardrobes. A lot of the colors can be neutral, but you can add in a nice dark green or maybe a brown. Some people could also make it work with red during the fall. Aric Lithiluxah (11), says that his favorite color to wear during the fall is, “Red, because it looks really cool”.
When it starts to get chilly, it’s hard to reuse the same thing you wore when it was warm. In this case, you can pair an outfit with a coat. Some might say that it doesn’t look good but Conan Chan (10) says, “[I like to wear] Oversized coats because I can wear them with other things”. This is totally appropriate during the fall weather, especially in Ohio. Keep warm and wear a coat!
Other than being chilly during this season, it can also rain a lot. It is very upsetting when an outfit gets messed up because of the rain and even possibly snow. Chinese teacher, Wei Fischetti says, “I like to wear windbreakers because it can prevent rain and windy days”. The weather could ruin your mood, but if you are wearing a great outfit and protecting it with a coat, or even a nice zip up hoodie, you’re gonna have a great outfit!
There are so many more options during the fall to keep your wardrobe looking clean. New trends come in and out, but you can make anything work if you set your mind to it.
