The final theater production of the 2021-2022 school year is Mama Mia! All of the students who work hard to put this show together are so excited to present it to anyone who is interested! The show dates are April 29th, 30th, and 31st!
There are many aspects that go into creating a show, especially a musical. This includes tech, costumes, ensemble, leads, and so many more roles which bring everything together. Madison Sheared (11) says, “I work with the costumes and I am so excited to see them during the show.” This is just one of the many projects these students work on to make this show amazing for their audience.
For the seniors, this is their last production at Hilliard Bradley High School. For some, this may be their first show and for others, they may be losing count. Ally Hunt (9) says “This is my first show here and I’m so excited to show everyone what we have been working on this whole time!” This show is a great way to get in the exciting summer spirit and support your fellow classmates!
The cast have up to 6 rehearsals a week to perfect this show. They are working with Bradley’s very own orchestra and band to help bring the story to life. This means even more dedication, because they need to learn to perform with the added music. Ben Haskins (9) says, “I am a part of the ensemble for Mama Mia and I’m so excited to share this show with everyone because the choreography and dances are so cool.” As high schoolers these students have extreme talent and dedication to this theater program. They give everything they have to make this show nearly perfect so they would appreciate every amount of support they can get!
Make sure to mark your calendars for one of those dates to support your peers. Bring your friends and family and enjoy this classic show!
