The Bradley girls soccer season 2022 comes to a close, here’s the insight of the player's thoughts. There’s been many wins and losses, but the best part is the family that was created through thick and thin. These girls work hard all season, including the preseason June - October. They are building bonds stronger than ever. These girls have truly created an environment that’s fun, but also hard working.

Avery Zwilling (9) explains how the reality of her first season exceeded her expectations. “My first year with Bradley girls soccer has been so fun. Soccer has made me connected with so many girls in higher grades which made my school life easier. I have gained so much new knowledge about soccer and how to be a better player on and off the field.” For Avery, soccer isn’t just a sport you show up to, it’s a family.

Special bonds are being made on and off the field with this amazing group of girls. Lilly Klise (10) compares her first season as a freshman to her season now. “Last year this season was about the same. It was my first year of high school soccer so I was mostly just happy to be there and didn’t feel like I had a lot to complain about. This year I have more experience and I’m also in a different situation than last year, so I have many different opinions. Overall my experience with Bradley girls soccer has been very positive and I’m so glad I met these girls.”

Throughout both JV and Varsity seasons there’s been multiple injuries, but due to the support from the coaches, trainers, and teammates these girls bounce back better than ever. Riley Hickey (11) explains her comeback after a terrible ACL injury sophomore year. “Although I wasn’t able to play my sophomore year of high school, I’m so thankful I made a full recovery so I was able to return my junior year. I came back stronger because of the overwhelming support I received from my teammates.”

At Bradley girls soccer isn’t just a team, it’s a family. They encourage you every step of the way through recovery, education, or any other problems that may be going on in your life.

There were many new additions to our team this year, including a new assistant coach.. Riley Hover (college student) shares how her first year assistant coaching went. “My first year coaching went better than I could’ve expected. It was so fun and I learned a lot from this experience. There was an overwhelming amount of love and support that radiated off of these girls and I’m so glad to be a part of such a welcoming and lively group.” Bradley girls soccer season officially comes to an end, but these girls will continue to share their love and support for one another off of the field.
