On Friday Feb. 2, Bradley’s very own lady jaguars basketball took on conference leaders Olentangy Liberty. With a challenging opponent, Bradley fell short with a final score of 41-52 The Jags went down but not without a fight.

Liberty lived up to their standard, making it a battle. Despite this, Bradley was able to keep it to a two point deficit at halftime. The challenging game was truly a test of endurance and strength. Mentally, the girls were locked-in, truly making Olentangy earn the win.

After the game I caught up with Head Varsity coach Andrew Whitt who sai,d “the defense kept us in the game a whole lot, also making some good shots in the first half.” His biggest takeaway from the game was that his team played with “a lot of grit… that was a fight from our kids,” speaking highly of the effort his girls put into the game.
